Worldwide Placement of Engineering Professionals for the Yachting Industry |
| |
At Yacht Engineers we aim to provide a specialized service to Engineers working in the Professional Yachting Industry, and Engineers seeking work within this specialized sector a complete and personal way to find new employment.
For yachts seeking Engineers, we are here for you. With the increasing demands of the IMO STCW 95 convention, and especially the British MCA “Large Yacht Code” times are changing. At present all Red Ensign yachts over 24 metres, whether private OR charter will have to employ at least one STCW 95 qualified marine engineer by February 2002. Our aim is to seek out and recruit engineers suitable for today’s yachts.
By concentrating only on engineers, we are able to provide Engineers and Yachts alike a unique service in the yachting community.
Yacht Engineers is also available for assistance to both the engineer and yacht for advice on qualifications and manning. We understand that on a busy yacht, finding time to research and book training courses and accommodation etc. might be difficult. We maintain an up-to-date data-base of course availability and also liaise with the training centres to find accommodation etc.
In the near future we plan to have a solid relationship with the British MCA, and as such be able to provide a more personal and expedient way to answer questions regarding qualifications and manning.
All consultation services are absolutely free of charge. We only charge for placement services.
Yacht Engineers. Working for the Engineer. Working for the Yacht.
